Steering Committee

The Region 6 Steering Committee provides strategic guidance and regional insight to ensure all Center work is grounded in the real-world needs of public health practitioners. Composed of leaders and practitioners from state, tribal, local, and territorial (STLT) health departments, healthcare coalitions, and other public health emergency preparedness entities, the Steering Committee helps shape priorities, inform focus areas, and guide evaluation activities. Through quarterly meetings and ongoing collaboration, the Committee plays a vital role in aligning our efforts with regional priorities and strengthening the relevance and impact of our work across Region 6.

National Network of Centers

The Region 6 CHSRR is proud to be part of the national network of CDC-funded Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response (PHEPR) Centers. This network fosters cross-regional collaboration to ensure that products developed through each center are practical, high-quality, and informed by shared challenges and opportunities across jurisdictions. Through joint initiatives, resource sharing, and consistent communication, CHSRR contributes to a broader effort to strengthen national readiness while tailoring solutions to regional needs.
